HEATHER MANNING

I discovered a passion for theatre for young audiences in my high school years, when I took acting classes from the world-renowned Coterie Theatre in Kansas City. I was invited to join their Young Playwrights Roundtable, where I saw my love of writing and acting merge. This experience encouraged me to want to bring the love of theatre to the next generation through TYA. 

At Stephens College, I have been a teaching artist with TRYPS Institute, a member of outreach program called Royal Readers (most recently, I have been "friends" with a certain Snow Queen, a Space Princess, and a book-loving Beauty), an actor in a touring TYA production, and much more.
